Original resources, tools and lessons I developed throughout the year-long Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Exchange
Chart I created to organize and share my lessons and resources throughout the program. This template came to be and evolved throughout my coursework. I hope that it will help other Fulbright teachers on their coursework and preparation for the BEST professional development they will ever participate in.
A collection of original lessons, reflections, collaborations & resources I curated. The requirement was 6 artifacts over the course of the semester. It took me 9 artifacts to figure out that the template I created (see link to the left) is an artifact, thus becoming #10 on my chart. By then I was on a roll and I collected 21 artifacts. Type-A Virgo could not stop once she got going. :)
The artifacts that would be helpful to others are hyperlinked and include lesson plans, resources, and access to tools to help educators bring global perspectives and experiences to their students.
Digital resources I found helpful and engaging. Some of my favorites include:
TED Talks
Padlet for national & international collaboration among students (especially useful when time zones prevent live video calls)
Harvard's Project Zero (also listed in "Additional Rsources" under the "Learn" tab.
A partnership with the only other Theory of Knowledge teacher in the 2025-2026 Fulbright TGC cohort. So much fun to collaborate and lesson plan with.
Check out the lesson and resources we used to engage students on both coasts, comparing, contrasting, and connecting local and global issues; all connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

I am uniquely fortunate in Southern California to be surrounded by a rich tapestry of cultures and traditions. These organizations provide dynamic experiences that help bring global education to life both inside and outside the classroom.
